UTV Accident On Cheese Country Trail

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Cheese Country Trail in Gratiot Township for an ATV accident Saturday around 7:35pm. . 53 year old Stuart Caravello of Medinah, IL was traveling eastbound on the Cheese County Trail in a UTV at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his UTV. Carvello went into the ditch and came to rest. Caravello was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Caravello was cited for Operating a UTV while intoxicated and Operating a UTV at an Unreasonable Speed.
