A Richland Center man was arrested in Bridgeport following a traffic stop. On Wednesday the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by 40-year-old Shane Klemz of Richland Center in Bridgeport. Prairie du Chein Police Department K9 Sheisty responded to the stop and alerted to the presence of controlled substances in the vehicle. Law enforcement personnel searched the vehicle and located methamphetamine paraphernalia. Klemz exhibited indicators of drug impairment, and he was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a restricted controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a probation violation.
