Kieler-based Packers Sanitation Services Inc. is moving its office to Atlanta. The company, which provides sanitation services and chemical products to food processing facilities across North America, announced that it will phase out jobs at its Kieler office over the next several months. Some positions in Kieler will be terminated by Dec. 31, while others will remain through March 2025. “Under 100 jobs” will be impacted, but a specific number has not yet been established. The company declined to say how many people it currently employs at its Kieler office, but, Grant County Economic Development Corp. Executive Director Ron Brisbois estimated there to be approximately 90 employees. A representative for PSSI said they’re working with employees to establish end dates and severance options but did not have more details on what the severance entails.
