A 27 year old Platteville man died of injuries he suffered in a motorcycle crash on Saturday. Trevor King suffered serious injuries when he was ejected from a motorcycle in a crash around 7:30pm The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a car vs motorcycle crash with serious injuries at the intersection of Highway 61 and County Highway B. EMS and fire units were dispatched to the scene, along with sheriff deputies. An initial investigation of the crash showed that King was traveling southbound on Highway 61 on his 2003 Harley Davidson in the Township of Potosi. 25 year old Paige Adams of Platteville was riding as a passenger. At the same time, a vehicle driven by 25 year old Jacob Marshall of Cuba City was travelling west on County Highway B, approaching Highway 61. Marshall did not stop at the stop sign and failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle. As a result, the motorcycle collided with the car and King and Adams were ejected from the motorcycle. Adams also suffered serious injuries in the crash. King was taken by Potosi EMS to Grant Regional Health Center, where he later died. No injuries were reported by Marshall or his three passengers. The Potosi Fire Department, Potosi EMS, Lancaster Fire Department, and Bennett’s Towing assisted at the scene.
