A Dubuque man has been sentenced to five years in prison for leading officers on a high-speed chase. 37 year old Robert Moore received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to one count of eluding. The charges stem from a high-speed chase that happened March 5 in Dubuque after a vehicle driven by Moore was linked to an investigation by the Dubuque Drug Task Force into 42 year old Donta Herron of Cedar Rapids. The vehicle was associated with Herron and registered to Moore, and authorities say it was used to travel to Chicago to pick up crack cocaine and transport the drug back to Dubuque.
