After deactivating his Instagram profile last month, Morgan Wallen returned to the social media platform in order to announce some big news. The country superstar shared that he is playing a massive headlining show at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee on September 22, with openers Hardy and Ernest. It will be a hometown show of sorts for Wallen, who is from Sneedville, which is only an hour and a half northeast of Knoxville. In his Instagram post announcing the show with a hype video, Wallen captioned the post simply and succinctly, āIām coming home. 9.22.24.ā
Wallen released a statement about the newly announced show, and explained his deep ties to the venue and the area. “I’ve had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee.” Tickets for Wallen’s Neyland Stadium show go on sale on Wednesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. ET.
