The Green County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public of a sex offender moving into the area to enhance public safety, awareness and protection. 24-year-old Steven Cotter will be moving to Green County today. Cotter has been convicted of Exposing Genitals to a Child, Possession of Child Pornography and exposing a Child to Harmful Materials in Lafayette County. His victims are both juvenile and adult females. Cotter has served his sentence and will be under the supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and will be further supervised by electronic monitoring. He must be registered with the Sex Offender Registry and will be residing on Falk Rd. in the Town of Jordan. Cotter’s criminal history places him in a classification level which reflects the potential to re-offend.
