The Grant County Board of Supervisors will hold their first meeting following the April 5th Spring Election. The reorganizational meeting will start at 10 am this (Tuesday) Morning in the County Administration Building. County Board Chairman Bob Keeney of Mt-Hope will be seeking a 6th (sixth) two-year term. There will be at minimum 2 (two) changes to the county board officer team. Porter Wagner of Dickeyville served as the First Vice-Chairman but opted not to seek re-election to the District 14 seat. Longtime Board member Donnie Splinter of Hazel Green was the Second Vice Chairman, but lost his re-election bid in District 16. Former Board Member Lester Jantzen of Potosi will be replacing Porter Wagner in District-14 while Mark Vosberg of Hazel Green will replace Splinter in District 16. The District 13 board seat representing a portion of Platteville will remain vacant as no one filed the paperwork.
