The Dubuque Police Department has identified of the person whose body was pulled out of the Bee Branch Creek Tuesday morning. Police say the man is identified as 65-year old Dale Heinze of Dubuque. Around 9:20am Tuesday, authorities were called to the portion of the creek near Rhomberg Avenue after receiving a report from someone walking on the Bee Branch Trail that saw a body in the creek. Heinze’s remains have been sent to the State of Iowa Crime Lab in Ankeny for an autopsy.
