A traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial exhibit will be on display in Platteville from Jan. 13 to Jan. 27. The exhibit, called “Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name,” is a part of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s Traveling Exhibit Program. It’s a joint effort by Wisconsin Public Radio, PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Veterans Museum and will be on display at the Platteville Public Library. The traveling exhibit includes photos for each of the 1,163 Wisconsinites officially listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. that were gathered by volunteers over the course of nearly two decades. This display will also include an additional twelve banners courtesy of the UW-Platteville Wright Center highlighting the UWP students and alumni who lost their lives in the Vietnam War.
