A motorcyclist was injured in Dubuque Saturday night after striking a pickup truck being driven without headlights. According to a report, 30 year old Jesse Birch of Dubuque, was westbound on East 14th Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, when he attempted to turn left onto Washington Street. While turning, Birch struck a pickup truck driven by 26 year old Hoby Duclos, of Tampa, Fla., which was stopped at a light without its headlights on. Birch sustained minor injuries and was taken to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for evaluation. Duclos was charged with failure to use headlights when required. Birch was charged with driving without a valid license, failure to provide proof of insurance and registration violation.
