State Representative Travis Tranel of Cuba City and the Chair of the Assembly Committee on Agriculture have congratulated Lancaster native Violet Hibbard on the completion of her tenure as a Legislative Intern at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison. This summer, Hibbard served as a Legislative Intern for Rep. Tranel at his Wisconsin State Assembly office. Hibbard has been interested in politics and public service since the beginning of high school. She cultivated a wide variety of experiences prior to beginning her internship, including campaign experience with congressional and state-wide elections as well as a participant in the Senate Scholar Program. This fall, Violet will head off to Samford University, in Alabama to study Law, Society, and Politics. She credits her interest with her experience in Senator Howard Marklein’s office as part of the Senate Scholar Program.
