A one vehicle crash occurred on Highway 61 just after 7pm Thursday night near Boscobel. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, 29 year old Rachel Weber of Boscobel was attempting to pass another vehicle that was traveling south. Weber traveled into the northbound lane and, when attempting to pass in the snow, slush, and ice covered roadway, lost control of his vehicle, traveling back into the southbound lane. Weber’s vehicle continued into the shoulder on the west side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. After Weber’s vehicle struck the guardrail it continued a short distance south in the shoulder and struck a mailbox. Weber’s vehicle became hung up in the shoulder. Weber’s vehicle sustained damage from striking the guardrail and the mailbox. No injuries were reported. Terry’s Tire and Auto removed the vehicle
