Dodgeville Man Arrested After Hit and Run Accident

Iowa County authorities received a report of a hit and run accident on North Bequette Street near Highway 18 in Dodgeville Sunday just before 3pm. A Dodgeville Police Officer and an Iowa County Deputy arrested 33 year old  Thomas Smith of Dodgeville, who was arrested for Hit and Run, Operating after Revocation, Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device, and Bail Jumping. Smith was taken to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on his charges and remains in custody pending a bond hearing along with a hold through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
