Prairie du Chien police on Monday announced the arrest of six meth dealers and say that further arrests are expected. The arrests were the result of investigations over the past 10 months in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigations. 31 year old Raymond McCullick of Prairie du Chien faces seven counts of delivery of methamphetamine, while 29 year old Thomas Wiemerslage Jr. of Prairie du Chien faces five counts. 28 year old Christian Weber and 25 year old Kristian Tesar, both of Prairie du Chien, face two counts each, while 40 year old Charles Slaght of Boscobel and 34 year old Jamie Holtet of La Crosse each face one count. Wiemerslage was arrested December 23rd after a chase that ended only when he crashed his vehicle in Marquette, Iowa. The crash and chase came about one week after police took to social media, asking residents for help locating Wiemerslage because they said he was a meth dealer. Three-quarters of a pound of methamphetamine – the equivalent of almost 6,000 doses — was seized during the investigations.
