Unemployment Rates in Wisconsin Drop
Unemployment rates in Wisconsin have dropped in 63 of the 72 counties. They rose in five counties and stayed the same in four others.
Dane County, which includes Madison had the lowest unemployment rate at 4-percent while Menominee County had the highest jobless rate at 18.3 percent.
The state unemployment dropped from 6.8 percent a year ago to 5.8 percent.
22 of Wisconsin’s 32 largest cities also saw a decline in their jobless numbers.
