THE LIBRARY…WHERE TO USE A COMPUTER

America’s libraries have become the

place to go to…use a computer.

Last year, nearly 12,000 people used

a computer at the Schreiner Memorial

Library in Lancaster.

It’s also meant librarians and library

assistants have to be ready to help

patrons when they’re using a computer.

Jennifer Bernetzke is Director of the

library in Lancaster.

At the Potosi Branch Library, just

over 700 people used the public

computers last year.

Bernetzke says while the computers

at the library remain popular, a growing

trend is people coming to the library

with their own devices and using

the wireless internet that’s available.
