A Lancaster High School student is facing

a felony charge in Grant County Court

of manufacture or delivery of a prescription

drug. That’s after he sold a

prescription medication to another student

last month. Court records show 18-year-old

Troy Baker faces a preliminary hearing

Thursday May 16th before Judge

Robert VanDeHey. Baker is free on a

$1,000 signature bond. A criminal

complaint says Baker is accused of

selling Adderall to another student at

school, Tyler Thompson.

Court records show Thompson is

facing a misdemeanor charge of illegally

obtaining a prescription drug.

He’ll make an initial appearnce on

May 20th, also before Judge VanDeHey.

Adderall is a psycostimulant medication,

that is typically used in the treatment

of attention deficit hyperactivity

disorder, and narcolepsy. Narcolepsy

is a chronic sleep disorder.
