The Lancaster Police Department has

released information about a convicted

sex offender who will be released to

Community Supervision, later this month.

Police say Dawn M. Klein will be released

back to Lancaster on October 15th. Klein

will be supervised by Agents from the

Wisconsin Department of Corrections-

Probation and Parole Office in Lancaster.

She’ll be under supervision until

January 7th, 2028. Klein will be monitored

electronically, and will be required to

register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender

Registry Program, for life. She’s not

allowed to have unsupervised contact

with minors, and can’t drink alcohol or

use drugs, and she has to comply with

all probation rules.


In 1998, Klein was convicted of 2nd

degree sexual assault of a child, and

causing a child to view a sex act.

In 2001, she was convicted on a charge

of being a sex offender working with

a child.


Authorities say Klein was convicted of

sexually assault unrelated teenage boys.

She was also convicted for exposing

unrelated preteen boys and girls to

sex acts.
