The Fennimore Common Council has approved
pay hikes for city, electric utility workers. There
are seven employees who are represented by the
IBEW, the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers. Each will receive a pay
increase of 37-cents an hour.
The City of Fennimore has yet to reach an
agreement with the 14 other, unionized city
employees. There are a total of 10 who either
work for the Streets Department or in
Administration, along with four police officers.
Two additional employees who work for the
Dwight Parker Library come under the
jurisdiction of the Library Board, and
will receive no pay increase for this year.
