Grant County has a new Clerk of
Court. Tina McDonald took the
oath of office Monday morning, to
fill the unexpired term of Kim Kohn.
As you know, Kim died June 19th
after a battle with leukemia.
McDonald has worked in the
Clerk of Courts office since 1997,
starting as a Fiscal Clerk. In 1999,
she was appointed as the Judicial
Assistant to Judge Robert VanDeHey,
and has served in that position
until Monday. McDonald is a 1992
graduate of Lancaster High School
and currently lives in Cassville.
She’s married and has two children.
McDonald will be up for election as
Grant County Clerk of Court, next
November. She plans on running for
the office as a Republican.
