Pay raises have been approved for

the teaching staff and other employees

of the Lancaster School District for

the upcoming school year, also approving

contracts for staff in the district.

The Board has approved a 2.07% base

wage increase for all personnel.

That includes 82 teachers, 68 support

staff, 6 employees who are considered

to be in the non-bargaining unit,

and three members of administration.

Coaches and advisers will also receive

a 2.07% increase. According to

District Administrator Rob Wagner,

while the pay hikes total just over

$160,000, the fiscal impact on the

district budget for next year will be

nothing. In fact, Wagner says because

of retirements and the district’s savings

on health insurance costs, personnel

costs will be reduced by $7,000 from

last year.
