The Lancaster School Board has approved
hiring an engineering firm for a heating project
at the Winskill Elementary School.
Angus-Young Associates of Janesville has
been hired to develop the specifications and bid
documents for the project. They’ll be paid just
over $30,000 for their work.
District Administrator Rob Wagner says the
heating project will have an estimated cost of
between $450,000 and $700,000 and will be
done this Summer.
Meanwhile, the Lancaster School board has
accepted the resignation of 1st Grade Teacher
Mary Binder, who’ll be leaving at the end of the
school year. Wagner says Binder plans to relocate
to the Seattle area.
And the Board has appointed Adam Arians
as the School Board Treasurer. That’s after
the previous Board Treasurer,
Yvette Marshall, had resigned from the board
last month. That was after Marshall decided to
not seek re-election to the school board.
