LAFAYETTE CO. METH FIRE IN THE DITCH

Two men from Shullsburg are in trouble

with the law after trying to burn methamphetamine

waste in the ditch along a road, yesterday (Sunday)

afternoon.

Lafayette County authorities have arrested

32-year-old Troy S. Glasgow and 34-year-old

Gregg A. Marcotte, and charged them with

a felony, disposal of methamphetamine

waste. The two are being held in the County

Jail at Darlington. The case is being

referred to the Lafayette County District

Attorney’s Office. Glasgow and Marcotte

were arrested after the Sheriff’s Department

got several calls about suspicious activity

in the area of East Charles Mound Road and

Wisconsin Lane in rural Shullsburg.
