GRANT COUNTY BOARD ELECTS NEW CHAIRPERSON

The Grant County Board of Supervisors

has a new chairperson.

The county board has elected District-4

Supervisor Bob Keeney of Mount Hope

to the position, on a 10-7 vote over

District-9 Supervisor Larry Wolf of

Lancaster. Wolf had been serving as

the county board chair for the past

two years.

 

 

As County Board Chairman,

Keeney will be paid just over

$46,000 per year.

Elected vice-chair is District-6

Supervisor John Patcle of Potosi on

a vote of 9-8 over District-15 Supervisor

John Beinborn of Cuba City.

Also, District-10 Supervisor Mark Stead

of Platteville is reelected as the 2nd

vice-chair on a vote of 9-8, over

District-11 Supervisor Dale Hood of

Platteville.
