A three-year-old girl from Hillsboro

is dead after a two-vehicle crash

Thursday morning in the Village

of Muscoda. Muscoda Police say

Brownwynn Babb was taken by

Med-Flight to UW-Hospital in

Madison from the Richland Hospital

at Richland Center. The girl died

from her injuries while at the

hospital in Madison.

The girl was a passenger in a

van being driven by 26-year-old

Callie Jacobus of Hillsboro.

Jacobus was driving west on

University Street in Muscoda

when she didn’t stop for a

car that was heading south on

5th Street. The car was being

driven by 26-year-old

Melissa Starkey of Muscoda.

The two vehicles collided in

the intersection, causing the

van Jacobus was driving to

overturn. Jacobus and an

eight-month-old boy in the

van were uninjured.

While Starkey was uninjured,

a seven-year-old passenger in

her car…Kassandra Post…has

been treated for minor injuries

at the Gundersen Boscobel Area

Hospital and Clinics.

The Wisconsin State Patrol, the

Muscoda E M S and the Blue River
