Funding is now available for area

homeowners in Grant Countuy

who currently don’t have heat in

their homes, due to damages from

the flooding earlier this Summer.

Grant County Emergency Management

Director Steve Braun explains.



Braun says $50,000 is available from

the Grant County Long-Term Recovery

Committee. He says there are no income

guidelines to receive funding,.



Families who have furnaces that were

damaged by the flooding in June and

currently aren’t able to heat their

homes, are asked to call the Grant

County Emergency Management Office

at 723-7171 for assistance.


Braun says Grant County Emergency

Management is hoping to soon about

the $1-million in emergency housing

repair funding, that the county and

the City of Boscobel have applied for.

The money would come from the

Community Development Block

Grant-Emergency Assistance Program.
