The Fennimore Common Council has

approved a pay increase for non-union,

city employees for next year.

On a vote of 5-to-3, the council has

approved a 44-cent an hour increase

for all non-union city employees,

except for employees in the wastewater

department. In addition to the pay

increase, the Fennimore Common

Council has voted to discontinue

longevity pay for city employees.

Longevity pay goes to employees who’ve

worked for a specific number of years

for the city, with the increase based

on the the length of service to the City

of Fennimore.

This year, the City of Fennimore paid

out $16,000 in longevity pay to city
