Schreiner Memorial Library TEMPORARILY MOVED

The Schreiner Memorial Library in Lancaster has moved to its’ temporary headquarters while construction work is underway for the next 12-14 months (beginning 6/1/14) on its’ permanent facility.  The library is now located in the former Interiors building on the square in Lancaster.  The phone number is still the same: (608)723-7304

Dubuque, Deleware and Jackson County Head Start openings

Platteville Tornado Relief Fund

Building Platteville is partnering with the City of Platteville and the Platteville Regional Chamber of Commerce to establish a Platteville Tornado Relief Fund.  All Platteville community financial istitutions are supporting the effort and are identified as donation sites for the fund.  An account has been set up at Mound City Bank.  Donations canisters will also be available at Anchor Bank, Clare Bank, Dupaco Community Credit Union, Heartland Credit Union, Fidelity Bank and Trust, The Livingston State Bank and Wisconsin Bank…

Pioneer Tornado Relief Fund

Tractor Ride Benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association

Zumbathon For Tornado Relief Funds

Join members of the community for a Zumbathon at the Platteville Middle School Gym. Cost is $10 per person, with all proceeds going to support the City of Platteville Tornado Relief Fund and the UW-Platteville Tornado Relief Fund. The Zumbathon will run from 1 until 3 on September 13. There will also be raffles and door prizes.

The Miller Riverview Park & Campground is hosting a Halloween Weekend the weekend of October 3rd and 4th. Decorate your campers and dress up in costume on October 4th; costume judging will take place at 5:00 p.m.; with parade to follow. Donuts and coffee will be provided the morning of Sunday, October 5th. The last night for camping at Miller Riverview will be on Sunday, October 26th.
