A beer distributor from Middleton will be
opening a distribution warehouse in
Fennimore. Frank Beer Distributors has agreed
to buy just under four-acres of land in the
city’s industrial park, and to build a 9,000
square foot warehouse at the site.
It’ll be located at the corner of Dodge and
Dewey Streets.

The building will have an office and a small
cooler area. Semis will unload product at the
warehouse, and five route trucks will be
based from the warehouse. Those trucks
will then service a 17 county area in western
Wisconsin. Fennimore City Clerk
Margaret Sprague says Fennimore was chosen
as the site for the distribution warehouse,
because of its’ location between Madison
and La Crosse.
The Fennimore Common Council has
approved the sale of the lot to Frank Beer
Distributors, for $1 an acre. Sprague says
it’s part of the city’s investment incentive
program. Land is sold for $1 an acre, for every
$100,000 in development. The warehouse
project cost around $600,000. It’s hoped
the sale of the land will be closed on by
no later than May 31st, with construction
after that. Jim’s Building Center of Fennimore
will be the contractor for the warehouse
project.
