The Cuba City Common Council has
hired a new Director of Public Works
for the city. George Morrissey will
start with the city on March 31st.
He’ll be paid just over $50,000 a year.
Morrissey is currently working as an
electric lineman for the City of Shullsburg,
and also works for the city’s water and
sewer utilities. He’ll have a performance
review after six-months.
Morrissey will succeed Gary Droessler.
Droessler will retire April 4th, after
working as the Director of Public Works
in Cuba City for the past five-years.
