CUBA CITY HIRES NEW D P W

The Cuba City Common Council has

hired a new Director of Public Works

for the city. George Morrissey will

start with the city on March 31st.

He’ll be paid just over $50,000 a year.

Morrissey is currently working as an

electric lineman for the City of Shullsburg,

and also works for the city’s water and

sewer utilities. He’ll have a performance

review after six-months.

Morrissey will succeed Gary Droessler.

Droessler will retire April 4th, after

working as the Director of Public Works

in Cuba City for the past five-years.
