Yoga helps to build strength and improve mobility. Enjoy a nutritious lunch, and learn chair yoga practices that will give your lower back some nourishing attention to relieve pain and tightness.     The Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging will host a free lunch program, "Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia: Let's Start the Conversation," at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at its office in Fountain Park Springs Building, 2728 Asbury Road.
    Topics will include legal and financial issues, safety considerations, medication, community resources and driving with dementia.

    Thursday, February 27th at 6pm, the Dubuque Museum of Art, in partnership with River Lights Bookstore and their Page & Palette book club, is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a book club discussion on art and literature. Participants will be asked to read Timothy Egan’s Short Nights of the Shadowcatcher: The Epic Life and Immortal Photographs of Edward Curtis.
    The Museum will host a book discussion and then an exhibition tour of Edward Curtis’ work entitled, “Decorative” which showcases nearly 40 of Curtis’ iconic images.
    Mark Wahlert, will lead a tour of the exhibition and representatives from River Lights Bookstore will lead the book discussion. There is no fee to participate in the book club, and book club participants will be invited to tour the Curtis exhibition FREE.

    Most Reverend Archbishop Michael Jackels will lead a program entitled "St. Catherine of Siena and Gospel Poverty" from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25 at Shalom Spirituality Center, 1001 Davis Street, Dubuque, IA.

    In light of Pope Francis’ call to poverty and the spiritual Franciscan heritage of Shalom, Archbishop Michael Jackels, Archbishop of Dubuque, will present on St. Catherine of Siena in living her value of gospel poverty (shared life). St. Catherine, a Dominican tertiary, is one of the two patron saints of Italy, together with St. Francis of Assisi.
