in November. There is also a rundown of area FFA Teams that were recognized
for Dairy Cattle, Dairy Products and Forage Judging.
Making Corn Silage on the Francis and
Dale Vosberg Farm just outside of
Louisburg-west of Kieler. What a
difference a year makes, last year it
took 35 acres to fill two (9 X 250) bags.
On Monday-September 9th, the Vosbergs
used just under 21 acres. The corn used
for silage was planted May 7th.
Breezy Hill Dairy near Dallas, Wisconsin in
Barron County is hosting the 2013 Wisconsin
Farm Technology Days July 9-11th. This is a
video tour of their dairy facilities, manure pit
and new manure system. Breezy Hill Dairy has
about 500 milk cows. The farm is owned by
Alex and Mary Olson.
