BLUE RIVER MAN FACING HATE CRIMES CHARGE

A man from Blue River is facing

a charge of disorderly conduct with

a “hate crimes” enhancer, after a fight

broke-out between two inmates

last Friday night at the

Grant County Jail in Lancaster.

According to Sheriff Nate Dreckman,

18-year-old Thomas Lazarius- Richwalkski

has been charged, after he made

racial comments toward another

inmate at the jail.

Those comments were directed

at 24-year-old Timmy L Johnson of

Platteville, who’s African-American.

After the comments were made,

Johnson told Lazarius to come into

his cell, and that’s when a fight

broke-out.

Johnson has been charged with

battery by a prisoner. The fight took

place in J-block of the county jail.
