BEHRENS BROTHERS CHARGED W/ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

A fight at a party in Arena last October

has led to attempted murder charges

against two brothers.

State Attorney General J-B Van Hollen

says Brandon and Shane Behrens have

been charged in connection with the

injuries suffered by five people at the

party, that happened last October 27th

and 28th. The brothers are accused of

injuring five persons, who suffered

stab wounds and broken bones.

Brandon Behrens has been charged

with attempted homicide while armed

with a dangerous weapon, strangulation,

and substantial battery while armed

with a dangerous weapon.

Shane Behrens has been charged with

attempted homicide while armed with

a dangerous weapon, substantial

battery, substantial battery while armed

with a dangerous weapon, and

recklessly endangering safety while

armed with a dangerous weapon.

Both are charged with being party to

the crime of reckless injury while armed

with a dangerous weapon. The two will

make an initial appearance in Iowa

County Circuit Court in Dodgeville

next Wednesday.
