Two brothers facing charges of attempted
homicide and battery have been bound over
for trial in Iowa County Circuit Court.
Judge William Dyke has found probable
cause to believe that Shane and Brandon
Behrens committed felony offenses.
A status conference in the case is scheduled
for October 28th.
The criminal complaint alleges that last
October 27th and 28th, Shane and Brandon
Behrens went to a party in Arena. That’s
where a fight took place, and the brothers
are accused of injuring five persons at the
party. The five had to treated for stab wounds
and broken bones.
Brandon Behrens is facing charges of
attempted homicide while armed with a
dangerous weapon, strangulation,
substantial battery while armed with a
dangerous weapon, and being party to
a crime of reckless injury while armed
with a dangerous weapon.
Shane Behrens faces the same charges
along with an additional charge of
substantial battery, and a charge of
recklessly endangering safety while
armed with a dangerous weapon.
Both are free on $5,000 cash bond.
