Bail has been set for a man from

Waukesha, who’s being held in the

Lafayette County Jail in Darlington,

in connection with a triple homicide

on Sunday.

Lafayette County Judge William Johnston

set bail for 31-year-old Jaren Keuster

at $3-million. Keuster appeared via

videoconferencing Thursday from the

Lafayette County Jail.

Keuster’s defense attorney asked for

bail to be set at $300,000.

But Lafayette County D-A Kate Findley

asked for the $3-million bail.

Keuster’s initial appearance is

scheduled for May 10th at 1:00 pm.

No charges have been filed, but

Keuster is being held for probable

cause on charges of homicide,

burglary and theft. He’s a suspect

in the deaths of 70-year-old

Gary Thoreson, 66-year-old

Chloe Thoreson, and 76-year-old

Dean Thoreson.
