No one has been injured after a

vehicle hit an Amish buggy Sunday

morning in Lafayette County, and

the driver than drove off without

stopping. Authorities say the driver

was going west on Highway-81 in

the Town of Seymour, and then tried

to pass the buggy. As it was passing

the buggy, the vehicle hit the rear

driver’s side section of it. The driver

then drove away from the scene.

The buggy was being operated by

28-year-old Amos Stoltzfus of

Shullsburg. Both he and his

passenger are uninjured.

The hit-and-run accident remains

under investigation.
