The UW-Platteville Foundation has been
awarded a $7,000 grant from A T & T, to
enhance an undergraduate, cyber security
course at the university. The money will also be
used to develop a new, on-line graduate course
in cyber security. Jessica Erickson is the Director
of Public Affairs for A T & T for Wisconsin.
The grant is being made through A T & T’s
Wisconsin Innovation and Investment Award
program.
This is the first time A T & T has partnered with
UW-Platteville through its’ Innovation and
Investment award program. So far A T & T has
made awards to 11 other local organizations in
in the state. The goal is to have the on-line,
graduate cyber security program at
UW-Platteville developed by the
Spring of 2014.
