Emergency responders were called for a fully engulfed semi-truck fire around noon Monday along Highway 151. Authorities closed a north-bound lane of the highway between mile markers 1 and 2 in southern Grant County. That caused traffic back-ups during the noon hour as vehicles were detoured onto the Highway 11 exit. The semi appears to have been destroyed, plus a significant portion of the trailer being hauled was heavily damaged. At this time, no injuries have been reported from the fire. The highway was re-opened later in the afternoon.
